Under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Specialist will support and execute assigned marketing, communication, and social media activities. You will be responsible for content development and contribution to MANJ brand standards and development, and favorably positioning the amenities and passenger experience at the EWR Terminal A.

You will be an integral part of a team responsible for tracking, generating, and communicating concessions sales, promoting favorable passenger experience, and corporate initiatives as assigned. This position is versatile and needs someone who can professionally manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 
  • Supports all marketing and communication at Terminal A as assigned and may include internal communication, branding, public relations, social media, event management, email, text messaging, agency management, graphic design, videography and photography. 
  • Carefully executes marketing and communication plans and activities within the allocated budget  
  • Serves as secondary point of contact for third party service providers; under direction of the Communications and Marketing Manages will supervise third party service providers (PR and marketing agencies, media partners, press, internal stakeholders etc.) 
  • In conjunction with stakeholders, creates and develops content for the marketing and communication channels – photography, video, writing – in alignment with brand and communication guidelines 
  • Executes the Social Media Strategy and other communication measures (presentations, website, internal communication channels) and ensure brand compliance 
  • Provide the MANJ team with useful tools and materials to ensure a professional company appearance (presentation materials, templates, SharePoint sites) 
  • Supports the organization of events and promotions 
  • Supports the development and execution of internal communication initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across the organization
  • Assists in building and maintaining internal communication channels and formats (e.g., SharePoint, newsletters, presentations, internal updates)
  • Contributes to improving transparency and alignment across teams through effective communication tools and practices
  • Supports the Commercial Program (retail shops and restaurants) at the New Terminal A with marketing and PR activities as needed 
  • Develops strong relations with all stakeholders within the terminal and at EWR Airport 
  • Ensures participation of Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) in the Marketing Program
