Munich Airport NJ LLC (MANJ) is an US-based subsidiary of the renowned German Airport Operator Munich Airport. On behalf of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and concession management of the recently opened Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). We are looking for a; 

Passenger Support Agent

to join our team. You will be part of a great team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise, customer service and personality.          

  Your Future Responsibilities

  • Assist and ensure positive passenger flow at all touchpoints to ensure that the lines at the security checkpoint in Terminal A move efficiently throughout the journey up to the distribution point into the TSA controlled area
  • At the checkpoint and other assigned locations throughout the terminal, be able to answer questions, direct passengers and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • You will report directly to the Terminal Duty Manager but will also liaise with and get direction from the Lead Security Checkpoint Agent throughout your shift

   Your Education & Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate

Your Skills & Experience

  • Aviation background is a plus
  • High level of independency and responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Elevated level of ability to multi task 
  • Ability to speak a second language is a plus
  • Previous role in a frontline customer service setting is a plus

The base salary for this role is $21.25 per hour. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for annual salary increases and bonuses.  Employees are eligible for them and eligible dependents to enroll in medical, dental, vision and Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) benefits as of DAY 1.  Employees are also eligible for our 401(k) plan, which includes a company match, after six months of service.  The employer also provides life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with NJ and federal law. Our robust time-off policy includes paid time off and 12 paid holidays. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
